🧾 GST Registration Process for Normal Taxpayers
Step 1: Access the GST Portal
- Website: https://www.gst.gov.in
- Navigation: Go to Services > Registration > New Registration
Step 2: Fill Part A of the Application
Provide the following details:

- Verification: You’ll receive OTPs on your email and mobile for verification.
Step 3: Temporary Reference Number (TRN)
- After verification, you’ll receive a TRN.
- Use this TRN to log in and proceed with Part B of the application.
Step 4: Fill Part B of the Application
Complete the following sections:

Step 5: Upload Documents
Upload the necessary documents:

Step 6: Verification and Submission
- Verification Methods:
- Digital Signature Certificate (DSC): Mandatory for companies and LLPs.
- Electronic Verification Code (EVC): For others, via OTP on registered mobile.
- After verification, submit the application.
Step 7: Application Reference Number (ARN)
- Upon successful submission, an ARN is generated.
- Use this ARN to track the status of your application.
Step 8: Processing by Tax Authorities
- The application is reviewed by the tax officer.
- If additional information is required, you’ll be notified.
- Upon approval, you’ll receive your GSTIN and GST Registration Certificate.
